Where to stay
Since the wedding is located just outside of Vail, we recommend staying in
Vail, Avon or Beaver Creek. Vail is an upscale ski town, and things are
typically more expensive - lodging, food, shops, etc. Avon is about 10
miles west of Vail and is much more comfortable for us non-celebrities, as
you will find places like the Outback Steakhouse, Gart Sports, Subway, etc.
The Christie Lodge
The Christie Lodge is a nice hotel in Avon that we highly recommend.
It has lots of amenities and is within walking distance of restaurants
and shops in Avon. We have rooms held for the wedding with a discounted
