This is the best part! Colorado has so much to offer, and Vail is in the
the heart of it all! Here you will find links and info about different activities,
maps, and other useful information.
Group Activites Before and After the Wedding
- Friday: Golfing in Vail
Guy Albertus (father of the bride) has reserved tee times at
the Vail Golf Club for Friday morning at 9:25, 9:35, and 9:45 AM.
The Vail Golf Club was recommended to us as the best municipal course
in the area with the best value. The cost is $80 for 18 holes and
$19 for a cart. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Please
let us know by July 22nd if you'd like to join us.
If you can't make it on Friday and would like to go another day,
(Saturday morning before the wedding perhaps?), be sure to
call and reserve your tee times a soon as possible. The number
is 970-479-2260. Get more information about the golf club
at the
Vail Golf Club Website
- Monday: White Water Rafting
Join us for an awesome White Water Rafting
adventure on Monday afternoon. Details about when and
where we'll be rafting TBD.
- Tuesday: Hike a 14er
Stick around and hike one of Colorado's "fourteeners" (a
mountain that is above 14,000 feet) with us. There are
about 54 14ers in Colorado and some people try to climb them all.
To climb a 14er you have to get started really early (~5 or 6 AM)
in order to avoid lightning showers that roll in around noon.
Getting to the top is a huge accomplishment, and the views are
amazing. We'll do the hike early Tuesday morning. If you're
up for the challenge, let us know and we'll keep you updated
on the details.
